Grand Parchment

Grand ParchmentAllegedly found by Bérenger Saunière while restoring his church in July 1887. It contains the story in which Jesus visits Lazarus in Bethania from the Gospel of John in Latin. In this parchment another coded message was discovered:

BERGERE PAS DE TENTATION
QUE POUSSIN TENIERS GARDENT LA CLEF
PAX DCLXXXI (681)
PAR LA CROIX ET CE CHEVAL DE DIEU
J’ACHEVE CE DAEMON DE GARDIEN
A MIDI POMMES BLEUES

The parchment as it was first published by Gérard de Sède is believed to be a manipulated copy of an original. This original was probably sold by Noel Corbu to a couple of Englishmen. The manipulated copies were, given to De Sède by, Pierre Plantard and Philippe de Chérisey, united in their Priory of Sion.

You’ll find a very detailed description of the parchment decoding here.
